OK - It's been a while. I have a few projects going on and my Customers come first! So I had a customer ask me to build them a website. I had heard about a neat little trick to boost search engine performance. It's hiding text in same colored footers. Problem is...... Google is and has been on to this practice and it actually penalizes you. So, we need to re-think our page one content. We need to make sure what we do is in print and within the first 60 or so characters for optimum performance. It is very important to couple the visually effective with effective content. So now I am going to officially leap head first into the world of SEO. I am going to enlist the help of professionals and share my knowledge with you. What I do know that you can do today is encourage anyone who you know to link to your site from theirs and this will help. Send out a blast and have people open your site. Also - search for your site on google & yahoo & msn, etc and click on it once you find it. do this from an off-site computer such as at a library, etc. As I come up with more info, I will share.
